Description
Coriolus versicolor, or Coriolus for short, is a mushroom native to Asia that naturally contains highly concentrated polysaccharides and beta-glucans. Some people also know the mushroom under the synonym butterfly stramete or butterfly spore. In addition to polysaccharides and beta-glucan, the mushroom also has a manageable vitamin C content. After harvesting, the mushroom is processed into coriolus extract using the traditional hot water method. For this, the polysaccharides are dissolved from the chitinous skeleton of the mushroom, resulting in a 20-fold higher concentration compared to the powder.
