The Chebulic myrobalan, Haritaki in Sanskrit, is known in Ayurveda as an Asian superfood. In India, Haritaki has been used for centuries. The tree that bears the precious fruit grows in southern Asia. Along with Amalaki and Bibhitaki, Haritaki is one of the three ingredients used to make Triphala (herbal mixture).
