Description
This delicious baking mix for naan with curry and carrot by Classic Ayurveda is very easy to make and can be cooked in a pan before serving. The yeast-free baking mix is 100% organic and is seasoned with aromatic spices. Serve the naan with an Indian meal. Tastes simply delicious with a little melted ghee brushed on top.
Spices included:
- Turmeric
- Coriander
- Fennel
- Cumin
- Onion
- Ginger
- Cinnamon
- Pepper
- Paprika
Recipe for 5 naans (flat breads):
Ingredients:
1 tsp oil, 130 - 150 ml warm water and some flour for dusting.
Method: Take the mix in a bowl and add water and oil gradually. Knead for 2-3 minutes to make a dough. Let it rest for 10 minutes. This makes the naans a little fluffier. Dust your work surface with flour, divide the dough into five equal pieces and shape into balls. Roll each one out to a 2mm thick circle. Heat a non-stick pan. When the pan is hot, cook each naan in the pan on both sides until done (without oil).
