Description
Sharkara® was described as the highest quality sugar in Ayurvedic texts.
During production, raw cane sugar is recrystallized several times, losing about 30% of its volume. The sugar solution then forms large, yellowish crystals, which are dried in the sun.
The Ayurvedic sugar then matures and gains its special Ayurvedic potency. Thereafter, the sugar is milled and shipped to Europe. The product is purely natural and not bleached like conventional sugar. The pH value is close to being neutral.
