Le Erbe di Janas Curcuma, 100 g

Cleansing the skin with curcuma (numeric) helps to improve the complexion's appearance and slow the growth of body hair. Furthermore, curcuma is said to have a positive effect when used as a treatment for eczema, acne and psoriasis due to its high antioxidant content - as an anti-aging active ingredient.

It is used to promote the hair growth by stimulating the blood flow and thereby increasing the nutrient supply to the roots of the hair. In addition, curcuma is also ideal at fighting dandruff. When used to dye hair, it lends the light hair beautiful warm blonde and golden nuances. Mix with henna for warm copper-coloured tones. Curcuma blended with cassia revives blonde hair.

Application:
For the hair:

1. Mix together with a selection of plant powders and boiling water until a consistency, reminiscent of yoghurt is formed.
2. Cover the mixture and leave for to rest for 20 minutes.
3. Then apply the paste to dry or damp hair and massage into the scalp.
4. Then distribute throughout the lengthens of the hair.
5. Let it sit for 20-50 minutes, or 1-3 hours if it is used as a hair dye.
6. Then rinse thoroughly and cleanse with a mild shampoo.

For the face:

1. Mix with clay or other plant powders and with water.
2. Leave on for 10-15 minutes and then rinse.

Important:
Turmeric should not be mixed with indigo or catam (also do not apply to hair previously dyed with these two powders as these residues are still present on the hair!) - this could lead to undesirable colour results (yellow + blue = green). Do not use on blonde, bleached or sun-bleached hair!

Curcuma should only be used sparingly on the skin to prevent any yellow spotting. Problems generally do not arise when curcuma is used as a body cleanser since the powder is quickly washed off (as apposed to the application time of a face mask).
