The pomegranate is one of the oldest grown medicinal fruits. The fruit was often used in traditional medicine.

• The RETTER Organic pomegranate juice is made from pressed pomegranate seeds and contains numerous other ingredients in addition to its active antioxidant: anthocyanins, polyphenols, flavonoids, vitamins B1, B2, C, OPC and beta-carotene.
• It is also rich in magnesium, calcium, phosphorus, iron and many essential fatty acids.

Recommended use:
Twice a day, drink 1/8 l of juice, or in total, 250 ml of pure juice. Drink after a meal, preferably after breakfast and after lunch.
Why should you drink the juice after a meal? If you drink the juice after eating, your increase in blood sugar is less pronounced because the juice is digested with food. The juice contains natural sugar.

Tips:

• As pomegranate juice naturally contains sugar and tastes sweet, you should avoid other sources of sugar like sweets (exception: one square of dark chocolate per day, as it is low in sugar), pastries, white bread, sweetened milk products (very high in sugar) etc.
• In order not to reverse the effects of the pomegranate juice, avoid the following foods: fatty meat, sausages, croissants, shortbread, puff pastries, fast food, and fried foods. Avoid heavy meals.

Tips:

• Diabetics should always drink the juice diluted, preferably in the ratio of 1: 3.
• Caution is advised for people with kidney stones because the fruit acids contained in the juice can promote the formation of kidney stones.
