About 300 million years ago a primordial ocean dried up, leaving this fine magic salt behind. The salt is mined today according to ancient tradition and comes from the province of Punjab. It is ideal for preserving food and for seasoning soups, sauces, meat, vegetable dishes and much more. Ayurvedic magic salt is best used as the conventional table salt, but the taste is milder. The Ayurvedic magic salt is conspicuous through its white color with a subtle pink shimmer.
