Description

If you're looking for a vegan alternative for meat, tempeh could be just the ticket! Like tofu, classic tempeh is usually made from soybeans (although there are some types of tempeh made from other legumes). Tempeh is traditionally fermented using mould, giving it a nutty flavour and nice bite.

You can marinate and season the natural tempeh as you wish, but you can also enjoy it pure. The natural tempeh is extremely versatile! Try crispy tempeh skewers with peanut dip, or just substitute tempeh for tofu in your favourite dishes.

Preparation:

  • Tempeh tastes best when fried until crispy. To fry the tempeh, heat a little oil in a pan. Fry for a few minutes over medium heat, making sure to fry each side.
